Experience

Strategic leasing and third party business development efforts are led by Mark Preston, a respected deal maker in the Houston market.  Over his 35 year career, Mark has successfully leased over 37 million square feet of high quality office space.  Nationally, PRS leases and manages 14 million square feet of office space in 11 states.  In Houston, PRS manages and leases 2.3 million square feet of high quality commercial office space.

History

PRS began in 1983 when its parent company, Parkway Properties, Inc., a publicly traded real estate investment company headquartered in Jackson, MS., established PRS as a real estate service provider to both third-party clients and the holdings of its parent company.  Acting as a steward of Parkway Properties' investment portfolio, PRS was obligated to the shareholders of the company's publicly traded stock.  To ensure dividends were paid, PRS had to lease the REIT's holdings in a way that provided the highest return for shareholders.  Today, we apply an owner mindset to our client portfolios, providing intuitive asset consideration and executive level strategic planning.
