Mark Preston
Managing Director - PRS Houston
For 35 years, Mark Preston has specialized in increasing the
value of commercial real estate investments. Mark currently
serves as Managing Director of PRS Houston, a commercial real
estate services and advisory firm serving the needs of private
individuals, corporations and government entities that own or
invest in high quality commercial office space. Mark is
responsible for developing and overseeing the strategic growth of
PRS' Houston office. Additionally, Mark is responsible
for business development, strategic planning, client service, and
marketing. His diversified experience includes commercial leasing,
financing, portfolio management and administration, property and
facility management, quality control, capital planning, vendor
management, and valuation.
Prior to joining PRS, Mark was Senior Vice President of Owner
Representation with the Office Services Division of Moody Rambin
Interests. His responsibilities included commercial office
marketing and leasing, comprehensive owner representation, and
tenant representation. Prior to joining Moody Rambin Interests,
Mark was Senior Vice President Office Group with Grubb & Ellis
Company for over 20 years. Mark´s successful career in commercial
office leasing has resulted in the completion of numerous major
office marketing and leasing assignments in Houston, New York, and
New Orleans. Mark´s client list includes such well known firms as:
ExxonMobil, Reuters, Koch Industries, John Hancock Insurance, and
American Bureau of Shipping.
Mark´s proven talents and expertise have been especially useful
in marketing and leasing large mixed-use commercial developments
and master plans as well as high-rise urban and suburban Class A
office buildings. In this area of specialty, Mark was responsible
for comprehensive marketing and leasing services at Greenway Plaza,
Four Oaks Place, Riverway and Greenspoint Plaza, along with
individual building assignments including: 75 Wall Street, Eldridge
Green, 1001 McKinney, and many more. While at Grubb & Ellis,
Mark was co-leader of the Houston Office Services Group and was
responsible for all marketing and leasing assignments in Houston
from 1981 through 2001.
