Internship Opportunities
Parkway is
seeking senior undergraduate or graduate level students to assist
with a wide variety of tasks. Students will be exposed to
corporate-level duties in the areas of finance, marketing, property
management, research, accounting, acquisitions/dispositions, and
human resources, often depending upon their particular course of
study or area of interest. While interning at Parkway, students
will become part of the Parkway team, working with officers and
corporate employees, who will coach and mentor them.

Sample Intern Projects
- Assist Acquisitions Department with
underwriting and valuing properties
- Identify and evaluate recently sold properties
in Parkway markets
- Conduct annual Customer Satisfaction
Assessment
- Research population trends for U.S. cities and
analyze the implications for Parkway
- Compare Parkway accounting and budgeting
models to other REITs
- Research other REITs' disclosures related to
discretionary funds
- Develop disposition and joint venture
strategies for properties
- Research job growth and rental rate forecasts
for all Parkway markets
- Assist in the development of marketing
tools
- Build lease abstracts for each Parkway
property
- Analyze Parkway's long range forecasts and
update the existing model
Requirements:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications
- Preferred Majors: Accounting, Business, Finance, Management or
Real Estate
Dates
Spring, Summer and Fall Semester Internships

20-40 Hours per Week
